It feels good to know that I am contributing to the bigger cause of building lives

In my four years here at UNDP GSSC, it has become very apparent that this organization is truly focused on expanding the personal and professional experiences of its people.

Twice a week, I spend part of my workdays in language classes, I also had the opportunity to spend two weeks in Cuba learning Spanish. These are certainly not the usual development programmes that would be planned for finance professionals, and it highlights the multinational and multifaceted nature of our work and the environment.

I feel a strong emotional attachment towards what I do, even though it's a transactional role that provides financial services for business partners. It feels good to know that my profession allows me to contribute to the bigger cause of building lives.

The emphasis on work-life balance also makes it possible for me to enjoy more time with my family.
