Every day, I know I get to do my part for the world just by doing my job well

A finance career here has offered me a completely different experience from what one can expect from most other companies. It's the whole package. I've been with UNDP-GSSU for nearly three years, and I can say for sure that the people I work with are great, and benefits are good.

There's constant training to expand my capabilities in various ways, from picking up a new language to mastering a new software. Work-life balance is real too, which means I get to spend a lot more time with my family.

The most significant though, lies in the value of money management. It's clearly one of the most important tasks in any company. However, it's extra important at UNDP-GSSC, as the money goes towards enabling important causes that empower lives around the world.

Every day, I know I get to do my part for the world just by doing my job well. My key responsibility lies in revenue management. I review donor agreements, check documents, and analyse risks for UNDP. The role may be transactional in nature but it provides donors with knowledge of how their money will be utilized, which helps them gain greater confidence in contributing to the work of UNDP.
