The job opens my eyes to the world and the importance of humanitarian work

I have been with UNDP-GSSC for the past four years. This is where I find the resources to build my career and my life at the same time. In my role, I handle payments to vendors and ensure that these are done on time, as well as properly recorded. There are always opportunities to explore beyond the boundaries of the official job description. For example, I have been actively involved in the clustering migration project in the current expansion programme.

A work culture like this has allowed me to stretch my potential and discover my strengths in new areas. And here's the best part- there's a firm emphasis on work-life balance. So even as I seek to excel at work, I'm able to stay on top of my personal life, thanks to flexible working hours.

The comprehensive onboarding training at UNDP-GSSC will help any newcomer to settle down and learn the ropes quickly. It's made even easier by great co-workers who are always happy to help. The job opens my eyes to the world and the importance of humanitarian work. It also highlights the importance of the speed and accuracy with which I deliver my responsibilities.
